This is one of the first 12” singles we ever released.
Impossible to find on wax these days.
To this day “Internationally Known” remains one Supernatural”s most recognizable tracks. The b-side has a special feature from Vinnie Paz, Supernat’s BG labelmate at the time.
The “Flashbacks” track is really an amazing piece of history. The track is produced by DJinji Brown and amazingly, was freestyled in its entirety by Supernatural in one take.

We often get asked about our initial connection to Brand Nubian. Really it all started with this album as just fans of the music. One of the many things that is interesting about this album is that it does not include Grand Puba whatsoever. Puba was in solo land and Lord Jamar, being the warrior that he is, didnt miss a fucking step declaring that he show must go on. The mainstream reviews were mixed but the heads loved this record. Jamar brought Brooklyn and X brought Harlem. This record really showed that Brand Nubian is more one a collective than a group.

Yes that is Karen Civil cameo in Purple City’s now classic video for "Purple City Byrd Gang" featuring Jim Jones.
Babygrande was forced to sue Domingo Neris and the companies he represents (DNES Marketing, Mingo & Stennett Entertainment, Inc. and Frank 151 / Malbon Farms) for no less than $75,000 in damages.
When an artist is signed to a record label you have to get permission from BOTH the artist AND the record label to release a recording for promotional OR commercial exploitation.
Apparently Mr. Neris just doesn’t give a fuck. Well we do. Especially when it comes to our artist, the legendary GZA of the mighty Wu-Tang Clan.
